Not that I expect you guys and gals to know this, but today is Goonies Day, as the kids had their adventure on October 26th and to commemorate it, I made my own video. I of course am bopping along to Cyndi Lauper's Goonies song!!!

Lmao, Bert!! My sister one this giant fish toy thing at the fair and I was looking for a prop.... I don't know why I did it in hindsight - seemed *perfect* at the time, LOL!!!!
That is a very good question, actually. Surprisingly, I watch it once, maybe twice a year. I can't over watch it the older I get - plus I've been to all the movie locations 4 years in a row, so the memories of all of those trips, the movie and my friends are fresh in my mind. Also, I moderate http://www.thegoonies.org and I guess I'm always thinking about the movie to a degree, whilst talking about it with fellow fans and having meet-ups with them etc, that I don't need to watch it to still enjoy it. Does that make sense??!!!
Not many people actually ask me that question - they assume I watch it religiously!!!!
PS - I enjoy watching it the most with fellow fans and if I'm really depressed, I might put it on and fall asleep to it. But, I have the CD which does the trick too.
No. I'm not surprised that you don't watch it all the time.
I can relate to loving a movie without needing to watch it anymore. I'm a huge fan of Fight Club, but it'll probably be a long time before I'll need to watch it again.
However, I think Class of 84 would be the movie I’ve watched the most. My friends and I used to watch scenes from it a couple of times a week and watch it in its entirety on a regular basis too. I haven't watched it for years, but if I put it on I could recite every line as the actors were saying them. Shakespeare it ain’t, but neither is Dostoyevsky.

I can totally relate to you on this!!! I'm glad you understand where I'm coming from. I love reciting the lines, but also I hate that I can't sit in silence anymore watching it too, lmao!!!!!!
Hahaha, Cindy - you know, this only compounds the fact that I am a bit weird..... lol!!! Hope it made you smile...lol!!!!
Everything is okay. It's that time of year when everything starts to wind down and I can relax . I'm looking forward to Xmas and to taking three weeks off work in January. January also seems to be the best time of year for movies here in Melbourne. So I'm really looking forward to that too.
On the writing front, I wrote three shorts this year and I'm setting myself to write a feature length script. Hopefully it’ll turn out okay, but the main thing is that I do it, because it’s on my list of things to do before I die.
