Firstly, I want to congratulate Pia, Phil and Cindy on their success in the Gimme a Break Screenwriting Competition.

One more time, Congratulations!!!!!!!!!!

This is such an enormous feat, you should get up and do a dance.  "Break it down now!"  Aha, oh yeah... alright!"

Well, I will be returning again to a new work in progress, but currently, I have to get over the fact that I wrote over 75,000 words in November and completed my novel, and now expect to be working on its refinement over the next few years.

Ah, the liberation of writing like a crazed person and loosening the bondages of script writing.

Oh, and I've got Cindy's Halloween script on my to-do list for reading this Christmas-- what a thing to do eh?

Write on everyone!

Sandra

Hi Sandra,

First, thanks for the congrats. It was awesome to see three members of simply scripts names posted together on Gimme Credit's home page.

75,000 words in one month!
Did you dance?   Hope so.

As for Halloween Games, I just e-mailed Don the new version. The new one is 100 pages long, and has to be the final draft (unless I just tidy up words here and there) because I think it's time to put that one to bed, and move on to something else.
In the new version about 10 percent of the events actually happened, so I can say that it's based on actual events, even though I built a story around them.

The events happened to me, and other people were with me when they happened so I know I'm not crazy. Those events were the smoke alarm, the stove, the dark shadow, the deer and what happened after that, and the binding. The murder happened too, to a sweet woman whose name has been changed.

Take your time, and get to it when you can.
Glad to hear you're not dead.

Cindy

Sandra,

Thanks for the congrats!! It was a lot of fun!

Congrats to you too for having written 75 000 words in one month. I LOVE books and wish I could write them too, but I'll stick to screenplays since it's a little easier as far as English goes.

Wish you the best with it.
