Best Screenplay - No Country for Old Men

Best Movie - Atonement beat Michael Clayton, No Country for Old Men and There will be blood, WTF??!!

I thought there were some pretty bad choices everywhere to be honest, I cannot believe the Coen's never got the director nod and to show I am not just being a Coen fanboy I am not sure that NCFOM was really the best Screenplay, I would prefer something original win the screenplay award rather than adaptations, Juno or Michael Clayton maybe.

Javier did win best supporting actor though which i thought was spot on, at lest the haircut was worth it in the end - probably the only award of the whole thing that I agree with though i would have been just as happy if Philip Seymour Hofman had got it.

I really think that sucks.. Juno should of won something. That was better then most movies this year.. in my opinion anyways.

the golden globes are joke. sometimes i think they make their nominee choices by pulling names from a hat.

people care more about what the stars are wearing then the awards themselves. just a bunch of millionairs getting even more smoke blown up their butts.

and lets face it... the movies the last couple of years  - for the most part - havent exactly been earth shattering.

I'm glad Daniel Day Lewis took best actor, and I'm happy about Sweeney Todd winning best comedy or musical. The rest I'm not too thrilled about. Oh well, can't win 'em all.
