Quoted from Takeshi
Sometimes media hype around favourites inflates the odds, Mike. Especially if the general public get on the bandwagon and give it momentum.

Vegas bookies don't generally buy into that stuff though, they're just focused on the game and keeping their money.  I did a little bit of searching and found that they had originally set the line at 14 and it dropped to 12 when heavy bets started being placed on the giants.  They should have set it at about 6 or less.  The Patriots as favorites would have been a losing bet any way you slice it since the Giants won straight up, but the lower spread would have hindered betting.

Seriously, that spread was so lopsided, that if I had known about it beforehand I would have dropped money on the Giants.  And I don't gamble.  EVER.

And that was a huge dick move by Belicheck to just walk off the field without congratulating Coughlin.

Yeah, baby! That was the best SB I canremember watching. And how about Manning winning one year and then another Manning winning the next. Such a great game.

#$% the Patriots. there was nothing more satisfying then seeing golden boy tom brady getting his ass PLANTED in the turf for 3 hours....

Darth Hoody looked awful hungry after that game. hope he saved himself a nice healthy slice of that humble pie he's been dishing.....

As much as i want the 72 dolphins to shut up already, this was not the right team to do it. The patriots just had too much bad karma surrounding them this season, for them to be allowed into the history books as the best team ever. from spygate, to running up the score on hapless opponents, to Belichick's blatent disgreguard of sportsmanship, to the audacity and smugness of the entire football team.....they didnt play like champions they played like overconfident bullies and they deserved everything they had coming to them last night. i cheered as loud as i cheer for my own team when Eli and co sealed the deal.

and lets be clear... the greatest QB in the history of the game is.... Joe Montana...
The greatest coach in the history of the game is... Bill Walsh.

end of story.

If any of you listen to Ron and Fez on XM you might have heard Ron bring up that of course Belichick had to storm off the field with 1 second left. He's the villian, the heel. Villians don't shake.
