There's talk of a potential SS gathering at some point in the near future, which would serve as a good way of getting to know other members of the board in person.

My health is bad but I'm an optimist.  Maybe if not this one, maybe the next.  I know we've got a few members from Vancouver, B.C. and that's my hometown; so who knows?

It sure would be nice to get together with everyone!  I'm thankful for our online work but meeting people in person would be the best.

So does this mean I can't count on you for a lift then?

I'm in the same boat, still, if we can both save up the money cool to go together, if i can get my licence and my mums car, just take turns driving we can get there in 2 days.

I tried to get them to come to Melbourne, but no luck.  We can have our own get together here Chris - but I think only two people would show.  Are there any other Melbournites out there?

Well me and Mrs Murphy are planning a US trip for sometime this year, gonna do LA and Vegas again (can't keep away from Vegas!) but D.C. is somewhere I have always wanted to go, so you never know...

There are enough Aussies on here that an Aussie one is not impossible!

You can pretty much count me out if it is this year... I never take time off work unless it is a special event like a family get together, funeral and or a wedding.

Then again if it coincides with time off you never know.

It also would have to be more than just a one day thing or the travel cost just does not seem worth it.
