Thanks Sandra!

Just as a side note... that dog is a Rhodesian Ridgeback. He's huge! Too big for the breed standard. He's also very scary! He's as tall as me when he stands on his hind legs (5'11") and he's not that nice either. He barks and growls at people and has bitten some people! My husband was petrified by him and I had to record his VO (pass the bag) at a different location, because he left. He didn't want to stay.

I know... most of the entries are quite bad... Like America's funniest videos in quality, but minus the humor.

Still hard to get chosen out of 1,749 entries though.

Thanks Jordan for checking it out.

I really would encourage all the SS filmmakers to participate. The odds are still pretty good and you'll most likely learn lots too...

Maybe I'm biased, but I've been watching some of the others, and I really do like yours the best so far!

I'd definitely vote for this one. To me, it has the appeal where you want to watch it again and again just to see different things inside the shots.

PS, I think the single guy being surrounded by three babes is a lot of men's dreams; so to put it in a commercial around a football game is clever, witty and just plain fun.

Thanks Sandra!

The original idea was to have a guy party gone bad until the wife/gf shows up with the Doritos. Then I came up with the idea of reversing the roles and it seems to work.

I think I've watch about 1000 of them now and I've seen a few good ones, but most of them I agree are on the level of Americas Funniest Homevideos  except not all that funny.

Then they're exactly like America's Funniest Home Videos, right?

This one is funny, but probably not for reasons intended!

That one was cute, but I liked yours, too.

You go girl!

Best of luck to you,

Thanks Cindy!

The funny part to me was that they write on a big board

DORITOS
"SNATCH"
ATTACK

Maybe I'm the only one who see that as a major mistake.

The old school "film" style coupled with the futuristic aspect of the villains made that one flat out weird.

Did you see any with a ninja?

Maybe it was intentional to see if they could get away with it.  I did that in naming a beer for a homebrew competition once.  The name I picked was posted on websites.

Who would want to drink a beer called "Posted On Websites"?

Finally saw this. Well done. Sooo melodramatic but that's what I loved about it. I don't apply the same standards to commercials as I do other things. Solid production value as well. Good job overall.

Yeah well done. The 5 days or whoever long it took to make was worth it.

Well done.

James and Tommy, thanks for checking it out!

James,

to bad you can't see the full size version. It's LOTS better looking and sounding... It does make the errors more obvious to, but still. It looks very rich in its original.
