Okay people, here's a great topic to start. If Fox and Marvel ever made X Men 4, (which they'll never do in the forseseable future) which mutants would you like to see and what should be the story? Personally I'd like to see Omega Red, Psylocke, Sage and Havoc in it. Story should revolve around Mr. Sinister leading Brotherhood of Mutants and Phoenix and Storm fighting over the leadership for X Men.
How about, since this is Hollywood and all, wait 3 years before making anything x-men related and then... SHOCK everyone --- by doing a "RE-imagining" of the ENTIRE franchise. Not a RE-make... no, that'd be too easy. LEt's do a RE-Imagining of it. That'll make those idiot crowd goers happy!
How many Hulk films did they do in 5 years time covering the origin? How many Punisher movies have they done in the last 20 years covering the origin? Hollywood is so out of ideas these days they'd be doing audience goers, all over the world, a huge service if they'd scan this site once or twice a month for new talent.
On that note... I can't say as if I was ever really into x-men much. Now the Flash... he's tops.
Thanks for your replies so far, guys. Reaper Creeper, your right, Psylocke was in X3. She should of had a slightly bigger part. As for Gambit, yeah, that would be cool. Only problem is using him would clash with Origins: Wolverine. I would like to see Apocalypse but I don't know who should play him. Baltis, I like the idea of re-imagining X Men. Only thing is Marvel have reimagened X Men a few times.
So if was going to do a whole new take on X Men, I would create a story which focuses on how society deals with the presence of Mutants and how they treat them, but not like in Heroes. I would probably leave out the X Academy all together, maybe. In my version the mutants train themselves and learn how to fend for themselves the hard way. Xavier and Magneto would sill be in there, but I would change their characters slightly.
So. your version is nothing like the X-men and would be something new...
After Origins Wolverine and Origins Magneto and the planned "First Class" who will want anymore?
The Wolverine movie is disappointing to say the least. The bone claws, Gambits pimp cane, Deadpool and I could go on with the problems it has. Unless the finished version is drastically different from the leaked version it will be a bigger disappointment then Venom.
What's wrong with the bone claws? Wolverine had bone claws before he was imbued with the adamantium skeleton.
I haven't seen the film yet, though, so no spoilers please.

Well watch the trailer. A little kid with bone claws just doesn't work on screen. It make me laugh.
As him and his buddy are fighting the war (thats in the trailer to) you barely even know he has bone claws.
I'm fuzzy on the exact details but it seems pointless to change when he was virtually indestructible in the first place. Why go through the pain and agony to really change nothing.
Change nothing? In the early draft of the script that I read, the adamantium increased his strength to be on par with Sabertooth's so he could kill him in revenge for killing his girl. So I was under the impression the adamantium really made Wolverine a lot stronger.

They could always adapt the excellent 'alternate reality' X-men series "X-men:Evolution". That series was great and I wouldn't mind seeing a film version.
