The only thing that could possibly point to an "end" in 2012 is Planet X. But i don't think the end will come that fast I really don't

I actually have that series on dvd that was on the History channel. I don't believe in it, but was fascinated by the series. Even started my own version of a script about a year ago.

I'd like to produce all my ideas before 2012; short movies; more books; some songs; travel to Buenos Aires to dance Tango, smoke a "puro"Havana in The Bodeguito on Hernest table, Montevideo (I dont know why I chose this?), Machu Picthu (obviously to be taken by the aliens in the last moment of December 12th of 2012 )...Hey what I'm doing... Sorry, I have to go to start some these thing, right now! See later!

I have no idea when the world's going to end.  Maybe I just didn't get the memo.  But since I don't know, I'll reserve opinion and just keep moving on. . . .

I am already stockpiling credit cards in anticipation of the biggest binge in the history of sex. drugs and rock'n'roll.

It seems highly likely that these vast debts I am planning to ring up will never get called in, what with the end of the world and all.

December 11th is going to be a big night! Hopefully my hangover will be so bad I will sleep through the second coming of Christ just like I missed the millennium.

Just thought about this and this is my next script. I am gonna write about the guy who does exactly this and wakes up to discover the world has not ended.

I don't know what is going to happen. All I can do is speak from personal signs that I get and those things, I have no control over.

I know where I exert control and it's not easy. Many changes are going to be happening. There will be negative effects, but out of negatives come great things. I always like to speak about the many species of Pine Cones and how they can only procreate after a forest fire because it's then that the seed within the resin is able to be released.

After the destruction through fire, a new ecosystem grows up bringing deer and wildlife that wouldn't necessarily like an old growth forest as much. They are able to feed off such things as young Aspen. Aspen are wind pollinated and thus they "fly" into the "openness" created after the devastation.

The interesting thing is that I was reading on Nibiru today and here you Helio, go and post. Another synchronicity? I get a lot of these all the time. I think that many of us are awakening and who knows why us and not someone else? Who the hell knows? I don't think it's our business at this point except to do our work and engage at the level to which we are capable. Everyone has a rolling role to play. That's all I know. Well.... it's not all I know, but I'm going to shut up now.

I'm still paying for the millenium bug that never happened.  On new years eve, I bought everyone drinks all night on my credit card, expecting the bug to wipe out all record of everyones debt and bugger me it never happened!  Mind you after a few beers it's amazing what you believe!

Has anyone ever heard of the Novelty Theory?

It was created by Terence Mckenna, who was an experimenter in psychadelic drugs. An extremely interesting character and someone that writers should read about.

Anyway to quote wiki:

The theory proposes that the universe is an engine designed for the production and conservation of novelty. Novelty, in this context, can be thought of as newness, or extropy (a term coined by Max More meaning the opposite of entropy). According to McKenna, when novelty is graphed over time, a fractal waveform known as "timewave zero" or simply the "timewave" results. The graph shows at what time periods, but never at what locations, novelty increases or decreases and is supposed to represent a model of history's most important events.

The algorithm has also been extrapolated to be a model for future events. McKenna admitted to the expectation of a "singularity of novelty", and that he and his colleagues projected into the future to find when this singularity (runaway "newness" or extropy) could occur. Millenarians give more credence to Novelty theory as a way to predict the future (especially regarding 2012) than McKenna himself. The graph of extropy had many enormous fluctuations over the last 25,000 years, but it hits an asymptote in the middle of November, 2012. After his discovery of other doomsday theories that would take place on exactly December 21, 2012, he simply bumped up the date of "doomsday".[20] This statement is contested, however, by McKenna's own mouth when during a lecture he said,

“ An astonishing thing about the date I arrived at, by this method is that it's the same date that the Mayan civilization appointed for the end of its calendar. In all eternity ... You know, you may choose not to believe that I didn't know this when I made this prediction. But I didn't, know it! I didn't. Yet I chose not the month, not the same year - the same day, month and year. [21] ”

In other words, entropy (or habituation) no longer exists after that date. It is impossible to define that state. This is also the date on which the Mayan long calendar ends one cycle through the zodiac signs, then it begins a new 26,000 year cycle through the next era, or the Age of Peace. The technological singularity concept parallels this, only at a date roughly three decades later"



Two things then. The Mayan calendar just predicts the movement into a new time period, not the end of the world and something is going to be created soon that will mean the end of entropy.

This would, almost by definition, have to be the creation of machines that can build themselves (humans are too slow to prevent entropy).

So whilst the papers and chat shows will be looking for signs that the end of the world is coming, the more knowledgeable amongst you will be looking for signs of the first genuine artificial intelligence. It will usher in a new age where entropy ceases to exist.

It reminds me of Isaac asimovs great story, The Last Question.
