You've heard of this game, right? You pick someone and try to link them to Kevin Bacon using the cast and crew of different movies (typically the cast and major players, like the director, producer, or screenwriter). It's typically played "off the top of your head," but sometimes, you need IMDB for the really obscure ones...like me. The idea is that it's a small world out there, and everyone in the world can be linked by six degrees or less.

Personally, I got to Kevin Bacon in 5, although I found avenues to pretty much every major name in Hollywood. Anyway, here's my Kevin Bacon.

George Willson -> No Kind of Life
Allison Kirkpatrick -> Lucky Day
Doug Phillips -> Beat Angel
Lisa Niemi -> She's Having a Baby
Kevin Bacon

Ta-da! It took me a little while to get there, and Allison is the only person on my set who had been in anything that was on IMDB, but there it is. Legit. No one uncredited.

Just bragging. It's kinda cool.

Extras totally count  long as they can be verified...as in IMDB says they were in the movie. One in a crowd of many? Probably not.

"me" -> Doc Hollywood
Bridget Fonda-> Balto
Kevin Bacon

I guess it might not count... the movie was shot right here in Micanopy. My son and I both auditioned. My son was perfect, the cutest ever, but they were looking for a sickly looking kid so he didn't get it. I was an extra, but as usual was edited down to almost nothing. Oh well...

Can't believe this actually applies to me. So long as Steven's also counts anyway.

Me -> Kal Szegvary (produced my script, Abattoir)
Kal Szegvary -> Howard Stern (talked about Kal's film, Cannibal Rollerbabes, on his talk show and basically immortalized it in micro-cult circles)
Howard Stern -> Private Parts
Paul Giamatti -> Saving Private Ryan
Tom Hanks -> Apollo 13
Kevin Bacon

Rock!
