There's a story that goes along with this video. Moviestorm was being sneaky with the contest this video was made for. Rather than announcing the contest, it was hidden in the depths of a forum that few people look at. It was only on the last day, the day most of the entries started coming in, that I noticed the contest. And I wasn't the only person this happened to.
With three hours to go I rushed to come up with an idea (which came to me when I found this piece of creative commons music) and to realise it using only the base package of Moviestorm (that means only the free Moviestorm stuff - which is quite limiting). I managed to put something together, the first version of this video. It was crude compared to this version but for the amount of time I had to put it together, it looked pretty good.
Well needless to say I don't have a chance of winning the contest and I'm a bit pissed off at Moviestorm for their subterfuge at forcing a win on one of the forum regulars. So, I'd like to ask something of you. If you liked this video (since now I've had some time to complete it correctly) then would you head over to Moviestorm and vote.
Not for me. I neither expect nor want to win the contest – I don't really deserve it with my initial entry. So instead vote for "This Base Pack Life" which was done by a new Moviestorm user and is a very amusing send up of the contest (Base Pack). This director is also new to the Moviestorm forums and could use help with the voting.

Michael,
I believe in being honest andI don't like the idea if something bounces because it bounces
"if you know what I mean".
And if some big H wood reads this and takes it the wrong way...
They can give me the good one.

Michael, from what I see, you are not only fresh and new, but old and wise.
Your work is never stale or formulaic. Even though your personality is.
You are a completely fabulous person!!! We love you and are thankful for you!!!!
Awww. Thank you Sandra, that was very sweet and heart-warming.
Quick question. Is the sound loud enough in this video? I usually use my headphone and it sounds loud enough on them but I just played this through my speakers for the first time and the sound seemed low on my speakers. Anyone else have an issue with the sound? Thanks.
Yes MC the sound level is very low. I never did get it loud enough thru my PC speakers. In fact I thought it was a MOS recording until I heard a barely audible soundtrack.
Thanks for letting me know Gary. The sound problem should be fixed now. I don't usually use Moviestorm to create the entire video and because I did the sound levels were screwy. So I added the sound in post production now - like I usually do.
