Don't know if anyone knows anything about this film? Just won Oscar for best short. Some info:

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt2201259/

http://theshorefilm.com/

I emailed them & asked for the script... (chances of that happening... )

I LOVED this short. I went recently to see the Oscar nominated shorts, and this one was one of my favorites. In most features and shorts, the 'middle' usually gets 'boring' but in this short, the middle was my favorite part!

I was at the hospital all weekend so not sure if it won anything or not, but it was well written. I thoroughly enjoyed it!

This was probably my secnd favorite of the bunch. The best in my opinion was Tuba Atlantic about a dying old man who wants to play a gigantic tuba for his estranged brother to hear across the ocean. Very moving and hilarious as he hates seagull to the point of shooting them with machine guns.

'Artist' is not a term you should use to refer to yourself. Let others, and your work, do it for you.

Writer/director Terry George was actually a neighbor of mine, many years ago in the same apartment building.

I do want to see this and the trailer looks really good...
But, I have a minor niggling feeling about the victory...

Personally, I prefer seeing folks trying to break into the industry get the win.
Not someone that's written/directed multiple successful feature films.

It's not a big deal, but the thought crossed my mind.
This looks like a quality passion project and Ciaran Hinds is stellar.

Strange to have 2 Irish shorts in the mix, the other being Pentecost.
