For those who can't make the live gigs here is what I consider to be one Python's finest moments.

Yeah I've showed a few of the classics to the kids, RV.

They love Interesting People, where the guy in the matchbox is half an inch long, lol.  And they love Stake Your Claim, where the old lady claims she can burrow through an elephant.

Wonderful comedy!

Indeed Stevie.

Still looks good now forty odd years on. If only the rest of us stood the test of time so well.

I'll be twenty one soon, so naturally these things concern me. Strange, I look about fifty, so maybe I've calculated badly. Maths was never a strong point.

I can see you're an Anglophile. Which means you're fond of all things English, just in case people quick to anger mistake that for something else.

Entering this OWC then Stevie? What would John do?

Entering this OWC then Stevie? What would John do?

A time traveller races against the clock to go back in time and prevent the assasination of John Lennon.

He succeeds in deflecting the bullet intended for John.  Instead it hits and kills Yoko.

Unfortunately John is so distraught, he quits the Beatles and becomes a chronic alcoholic and homeless vagabond.

It's a sad tale.  Not for the faint at heart.  If you have a heart.

Now where's my Benny Hill tapes.  I need a good laugh.

Oops.  This is awkward.

I've got it.  John Cleese goes back in time to prevent the assasi -- ah nevermind.

Edit; Back on topic, I always liked Terry Gilliam's little animations.  Trippy stuff.

When I was a kid, the one that always cracked me up was on an album my friend had, not sure they ever did it live.

It was like a science show, and this lady was going on and on about her theory, and how it was her theory and nobody else's.  She said it like 20 times.

Eventually, her theory was that dinosaurs were small at one end, big in the middle, and small at the other end.

Man, that just killed us every time.  It was funnier than it sounds.

Hey, it's my tiny, little IMDb!

God, they were good.

You can't see those and just feel a touch humble. Slapstick, crass, yet woven with very high level of intellectual concept. Just brilliant. Maybe some things make you laugh more, but hell the respect is there

They will play those clips in a hundred years, and still learn from them.

If only we could write something like that.

If one lesson jumps out at me is that...they wrote as team.

One for us all.

RL you are only 20?  Damn that's quite unbelievable. I'm old enough to be your dad! Lol

No, not in the feature 7wc. Still trying to get my Marilyn script done. Been too busy watching the World Cup, gaming and cleaning the house while the fam is away.

Yes it's completely unbelievable. And not true. I'm actually 12. Or so my relatives keep asking me if I am. They usually follow this with some comment about my behaviour being juvenile. It's not my fault I want a new bike, now is it?

Who's RL? Have you been having a little drinky eyeopener, Stevie? Probably not.

Enough of this. I have a newspaper round to do.
