Quoted from Hank
Propaganda is normally associated with promoting negativity. One day you'll understand that hurting and murdering animals for food or sport is barbaric and disgusting. Anyone who disagrees is simply currently on the wrong side of history, similarly to supporters of segregation and those against women's rights.

Hey, Hank. How about this? Instead of arguing about all these tortured animals, which are absolutely delicious by the way, why don't you go return some reads you owe the other writers here?

Oh boy... I've numbered your post above to keep things clear.

1) Propaganda - information, especially of a biased or misleading nature, used to promote a political cause or point of view. In your case, the complete criticism of other dietary systems as "barbaric" and "disgusting" and promoting veganism as the only ethical/healthy dietry system people should use.

2) Never mentioned sport hunting, talking about vegan propaganda.

3) A prime example of vegan propaganda.

4) Comparing having a meat-based diet to segregation and women's rights is a little abhorrent.

Once Hollywood goes fully vegan and the government and news outlets start declaring the animal agriculture industry is a detriment to health and the planet, then the followers will transition. Its been known for decades that veganism is beneficial for all humans, except those in power needed to slowly let news about this develop, and act like they never knew, so not to cause too much outrage.

This is why we don't like lefties any more and we're getting pretty close to deciding you all go in the dog food.

When you get done dreaming about your idiotic fairytale world, go return some reads.

I'm more of a science rather than conspiracy type of person.

I'm not disputing that veganism is healthy - it helps lower cholesterol and reduces the risk of heart disease. It actually increases the risk of stroke because of the lack of B12 but this is easily overcome with supplements or fortified foods.

Veganism is a perfectly viable diet, but so are other diets - People who do not hold your belief are neither "disgusting" nor "barbaric" - Such claims, and (circling back to your original post, that started this) twisting facts to promote veganism as the only option people should take - morally/healthwise, whatever the reason - is vegan propaganda, which is what I was discussing.

but seems you are too emotionally charged about the subject to discuss - so probably best to leave it there.

Don't worry, those who fail to transition will still be able to eat their nearly flavorless, rotting food through lab-grown meats, which is far less harmful to animals, the environment, and the humans consuming it.

Plants have feelings too. Just because they can't communicate with you, they scream as you slice them up, then throw them in boiling water or a hot oven. Research suggests that the vegetables are still alive when you eat or cook them. Potatoes, for example, will grow roots and turn into more potatoes. They're actually still alive when you murdering vegan bastards eat them. Vegans are pure scum! Worse than kiddie fiddlers, worse than Jimmy Saville!

Just like those who fail to return reads will be frowned upon by writers who actually contribute to the boards.

Well, you should never have taken it there in the first place.

Since the discussion now have migrated from hoarding toilet paper to discussing food consumption, out of curiosity, what food items did you stock up on if you have to be quarantined or already are?

We have a freezer full of fish. Canned vegetables and beans. Rice, pasta and potatoes. Then of course Wasa crisp bread and King Oscar sardines in tomatoes.   If things get really bad, there's plenty of rolled oats. If things get even worse than that, there are those three months worth of MREs...

What about adult beverages? We have Guinness Extra Stout and some Truly.

How about you?

Haven't stocked up on anything - did my normal shop, and in a couple of weeks when I need to, I'll do my normal shop again.

Luckily I make my own booze, so plenty of the old "moonshine" around the place

We're loaded up on noodles, rice, and a ton of canned goods. My neighbor has like 20 cats and dogs, so if this gets really bad, I'll just torture and eat a few of those.
