It's been a while, so I return bearing a free gift. You guys are gonna love this. If you haven't heard of it already (if you have, meh), then this tool is going to change the way you write your screenplays forever. In the right hands, this tool is a screenwriter's dream.
Just tell it what you want to do and it will tell you the best way to do it. So, for example, you want to write a murder story (ensure to tell it you're writing a screenplay) and it will even tell you what characters would be best to include and how best to structure it. Not only that, but this tool will write your synopsis, loglines, and blurbs for you.
Struggling with character names? Then simply tell the AI the vibe you want for each character and it will come up with names that match what you want. Honestly, this is the best thing I've ever seen. So intuitive, it has to be seen to be believed.
Once you get to grips with it, Dave, this will become invaluable. I'm writing something pretty epic right now and after a conversation with this AI, it wrote me a professional synopsis. I hate writing those. It also wrote a blurb and a logline for me. I've also used it to help me plot out the whole story. I think I'm in love.

I just used it to write the opening scene for me and, well, let's just say it's not at a pro standard yet. Still some telling, and confusing issues. Only slight issues, but glaring to a real writer. However, for plotting, and everything else, this tool is great.
Here is the AI's response when I asked how it can help with the first draft of a novel:
Here are a few ways I can help with the first draft of your novel:
Brainstorming: I can help you come up with ideas for characters, plots, settings, and themes for your novel.
Outlining: I can assist you in creating an outline for your novel, including the major plot points, character arcs, and key events.
Writing prompts: I can provide writing prompts to help you get started on specific scenes or chapters of your novel.
Feedback: I can offer feedback on the ideas and concepts you've come up with for your novel, including suggestions for improvement and development.
Overall, my goal is to help you move through the first draft of your novel more efficiently and effectively, so you can focus on the creative aspects of writing and bring your vision to life. Please let me know if you have any specific questions or areas where you would like help, and I will do my best to assist you.
I've got about 400 ideas stored in Evernote, from snippets to page length descriptions... I've been playing (and will contonue to) play with it to expand ideas... so far the results have been less than inspiring BUT I suspect that the more info/parameters you give it then the better the results...

Yeah, the key thing is that it's an assistant. Learning to ask the right questions helps and if it doesn't provide the responses you want you can correct it and ask it to try again.
I'm currently also using it to help me adapt one of my feature screenplays into a novel. I'm literally making it write the first draft for me. It's not perfect, but what first draft is? The key here for me is getting those words down on the page far faster than I could without assistance. I could manage around 10K words per day with this thing. That's 5X faster than I could, at least.
Okay - I have had a chance to play around with this. My opinion:
1) It will not replace writers (for now anyway)
2) It will be a great tool for idea generation and for structure.
By way of example - you can say create a Rom-con using the Save The Cat Beat sheet and it will give you an outline.
The scripts it generates suck. So it will not execute a marketable script IMO. HOWEVER - I think this is going to be a fabulous writing tool
I had it write a couple of scenes for me and, yeah, it was really bad. Hilarious when I asked it to write in the voice of Tarantino. It was the equivalent of Mary giving birth to Jesus with Joseph next to her, yelling, "You're a warrior, Mary. Come on, you can do this!" It's a good job I wasn't drinking a coffee when I read that line. It does everything but write it for you, which is a shame, but certainly something I can live with. And, to think, this is still early days for this tech.
I'm working on this screenplay adaptation into a novel and I asked if there were any potential plot holes. Damn, this thing is good. It takes away the headache of having to figure it out for myself, leaving me free to do what I do best. It will even write the synopsis, treatment, blurb, and logline, and provide suggestions as to how I can solve the plot holes should my mind go blank.
If you do use this tool and encounter problems, use the report function so the team can help improve. It's completely free to use but is still under research. It will help them out and us in the long run.
This is not just a writer's tool. I read of one guy in the Discord using it to talk him down from a depressive state. The AI will also write code for you and even correct your own if it isn't working correctly.
