I agree, Heat had one of the best shoot outs I have ever seen!

Oh hell yeah, I remember seeing that shoot out on the big screen and just being pinned to my seat. It was awesome.

I think Colin Farrell and Jamie Foxx are perfect for their roles. If those two weren't playing Tubs and Crocket then what other actors do you think should have played them?

it would have been awesome to see this in the theater, but I was too young .  I think this film will be good, Mann doesn't really make shit, Ali was probably his weakest out his films and that wasn't even that bad.

If you guys like Michael Mann's work, then you should watch Thief. It's an older movie starring James Caan that he made when he had barely any budget to work with. It's fun watching what directors did when they were younger.

The Jericho Mile is also a great early film from Michael Mann. It's about this guy who's doing a life sentence and he attempts to break the world one mile running record. It's a great 70's film.

I remember my dad talking about the Jericho Mile film. He told me it was the dumbest movie he had ever seen and told me not to watch it.

My dad also has footage of Miami Vice (80's)  when he went to Universal Studios to record the big action scene that  goes on. It's kind of bright and the camera shakes a lot but it's still pretty cool.

Writing an action movie. EVery other script I was making got deleted and my PC crashed. MY action movie will be completed in about two weeks.
