I just saw the EXTRA clip and I am really impressed. The films seem to be getting better and better as they do them. I'm glad they got rid of Chris Columbus, he made them way too sappy and sweet, but Alfonso saved the series' credibility with Azkaban, and it looks like Newell is taking it a step above with the Goblet of Fire.
I'm so excited for this movie. The teaser trailer with the clips of Harry, Hermione and Ron from 1st through 4th movie made me grin. I'm just afraid that since it's such a long book, they'll have to compact the coolest parts (like the TriWizard challenges or the Quidditch cup for example), cut things out, or switch too many things around to make it fit into a two hour movie.
I have never seen any Harry Potter films because they look like they are made for children and I'm not a child but I also thought the same about Lord of the Rings back when the first one was released (Boy was I wrong) but this series does look like it is for children or primarily not saying adults can't enjoy it but...
How long can they use the kid who plays Harry until he's too old or do the Harry Potter book characters grow up as well so they can use him forever?
Emma Watson (Hermione) was the only one out of the three who was actually eleven when her character was eleven in the first film. Rupert Grint (Ron) is one year older than her, if I remember correctly, and Daniel Radcliffe is one year older than him. So Daniel is 16, maybe. After four films, you really can't make a switch if it's Harry Potter, can you? Even George Harrison's replacement caused quite a stir, and that wasn't optional.
This film is going to be awesome! There was a advanced test screening in Chicago back in July (I wasn't invited) but HERE is a detailed synopsis of the film.
It of course contains spoilers.
AND... two more stories from Ain't It Cool News, with more first hand accounts.

Wes, you are such a stick in the mud sometimes. I have read the first 6 Harry Potter books and watched the first three movies. I do not allow my young children to watch the 2nd and 3rd movies, and the books and films have some themes that would appeal to adults more than children. The kids like it because the main characters are kids, but it has adult appeal because of the plots.
There are a total of 7 planned books, and the kids age one year between each book. The Wizarding School has a seven year teaching schedule, so the books are supposed to follow Harry as he goes through this school and the events surrounding it. Thought Book 6 does have a hell of a zinger ending that throws everything off kilter and is anything but juvenile.
As for not being a child so you won't watch "child" movies...man, who are you trying to impress? Finally watched The Incredibles recently (arguably a "child" movie). Really enjoyed it. I keep up on my Disney films, and my children certainly keep me up to date on the other kid films, which I do find enjoyment in. Child movies are written by adults. It's a genre in and of itself. No shame in it.
Warner Bros. Pictures will debut the new Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire trailer in limited theaters with Tim Burton's Corpse Bride this Friday (the trailer is also expected to appear online soon).
"Harry Potter" fans, who got a chance to see "Corpse Bride" early, were surprised when the trailer was attached to the film. You can read their descriptions of the 2 minute and 30 second clip at DanRadcliffe.com

Though earth and man are gone, I thought the cube would last forever. I WAS WRONG.
WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I know, I've said this before, but his film is going to be awesome!
tiny spoilers...
It looks like Newell kept with Alfonso’s big imagery and color contrasts and really paid great attention to the details that were in the book.
Gambon's Dumbledore is alive, and that's how he should be! The ship and carriages from the other schools are exactly how I pictured them, the actors are growing perfectly with the characters, Ron and McGonnagal are great!
The graveyard scene looks to be done perfectly, and I also can't wait to see the World Cup Match, which they didn't show more than one screen shot of.
I’m really exited now, I heard that there was a second trailer that Moviephone is going to put up some time but it was leaked on the net earlier today, but I couldn’t find it.
