Whilst I do prefer 'Shaolin Soccer' I think Kung Fu Hustle is great fun, but not without its flaws.

I HATE GAY ORIENTED MOVIES! When I first saw “Shawolin Soccer” I became a huge fan of Stephen Chow. It was a great film I ever saw from Hong Kong Asian industry as from the generic of parody/spoof movie. I can’t believe he written, produced and directed it along from acting!!! But when i watch KH.. it sucks...Expectation from Stephen failed; Even though it’s Better than Kill Bill. It focuses on some strange villagers than the hero. His importance was revealed on last 10 minutes, it’s not a hero oriented movie, its something based on underdogs and outcasts. Plus using UNWANTED HOMOSEXUALITY THEMES on the story made this Sucking movie the WORST ONE.

I can't wait! "Shaolin Soccer" was really good, but I thought "Kung Fu Hustle" blew it out of the water. From the Axe Gang dance sequence to the surprisingly well choreographed fight scenes to the "unwanted" gay themes, I loved it all. And after purchasing it on DVD, it gets better with every watch (it's great to watch with a group of people if possible). I trust Chow enough to believe that a sequel could actually live up to or *gasp* possibly out do the original. Here's hoping!
