Paul is making it hard to like him anymore as he has lost his touch and just went to making these types of films. You think it'll have the laser room where it cuts someone apart? Both RE and AVP did so why not go for 3 in a row.

AVP is probably the worst big budget film I've sat through, at least Blade was enjoyable eventhough it was a huge screwjob on Wesley.

Paul Anderson needs to stick to the one game franchise and not branch out and these stupid game companies who keep selling out to the highest bidder are no better.

Halo will be just like these and no matter how much you read about how they aren't making it easy, you know they want the money that all the others get.

I agree with you Wesley that most games being adapted for the big screen are done with $$ and the bottom line in mind. It's a business and it's about cashing in.

But I do think Halo will probably be better than the rest. I know Peter Jackson is a fan and he's signed on to produce. I trust his judgement and the product that he can arrange...

Fingers crossed.

As for Castlevania - love the games, still play them. Not sure about a movie though...too similar to Van Helsing...?

All I'm going to say is Martin Scorsese produced Frankenstein (The one I reviewed which the creators should be sued for false advertising) and it's nothing special and he's hailed as a legend in the film industry.

Peter Jackson has stumbled into the same rut as most other Hollywoodians in that he doesn't do anything original anymore, he used to have some pride. Now he just copy and pastes others work for his own gain.
