I wonder why they didn't keep the old writer...I heard this last movie wasn't that great of an adaptation, but I didn't know it was so bad they had to fire him...oh well.

Is this the one that M. Night Shyamalan was being courted to direct?  Or is that the one after this one?

Nah I think Syamalan was going to direct the next one, or The Half-Blood Prince as it is called.

Either way the poster looks pretty cool, would've been better if they had showed a little bit more, but then I don't really know what would have been good on it so this one is just fine.

I thought Ralph Fiennes was the best thing about The Goblet of Fire, so it'll be good to see him expand his role into something larger. This should be a pretty good flick, best one yet I reckon.

Coincidentally, the main character in the 1986 movie Troll is named Harry Potter.

Quoted from dogglebe
Any word on who's playing the teacher of the black arts?

Dolores Umbridge, will be portrayed by Imelda Staunton. A picture of her from filming:

Hey pretty cool. Doesn't really give us much to go on through, a full teaser trailer would have been more appreciated, but Warner Bros. have to release one eventually, so this is good in the mean time.

Thanks for posting, Theboywhocouldfly.

Yeah not too bad. I was expecting something a little bit more, like I know it was just a teaser but it was still pretty short. They could've fattened it up a little bit. It was still enjoyable though, thanks for posting.

Well, I was sufficiently teased. Looks pretty wild from the clips they gave us, but we're still 8 months from the release date. We'll see what happens. I've been pretty pleased with the series and its developments so far.

Yeah I think the series is shaping up fairly well. I think its interesting watching the kids grow and evolve as their characters do. I think there were a few mis-steps in the first two, but POA and GOF have been right on the money.

Well, the first two were the books on screen, but the last two were actual adaptations since the books were too long to do what they did on the first two.
