NASCAR stock car racing sensation Ricky Bobby (Will Ferrell) is a national hero because of his "win at all costs" approach. He and his loyal racing partner, childhood friend Cal Naughton Jr. (John C. Reilly), are a fearless duo -- "Thunder" and "Lightning" by their fans for their ability to finish so many races in the #1 and #2 positions, with Cal always in second place. When flamboyant French Formula One driver Jean Girard (Sacha Baron Cohen) challenges "Thunder" and "Lightning" for the supremacy of NASCAR, Ricky Bobby must face his own demons and fight Girard for the right to be known as racing's top driver.

Trailer can be seen here.

The site is now up, here. There is lots of content to check out. The "Letters to Ricky" are pretty funny.

This might not be able to top Anchorman, since it seems Will Ferrell actually had to follow a script for this one. I loved Anchorman's random humor and improvisation. I'll still probably see it though.

It doesn't look bad, but it seems like Gary Cole as his dad, Sascha Baron Cohen as the rival and John C Reilly as his friend/partner are going to be the real comedy here.

Will Ferrell is also using his SNL "George W" voice.

Haha, I saw a little documentary on this about 15 mins before I saw the film Click.  This movie looks so funny.  I hate NASCAR with a passion and the people that watch it, but Ferrell looks just too dam funny in this.  And come on, Ali G as the gay French rival?

I'm there.
