This is an interesting project being developed by Clint Eastwood and Steven Spielberg.

Flags of our Fathers is directed by Clint Eastwood and recounts the ultimately tragic tale of five young United States Marines, and one United States Navy corpsman photographed raising an American flag atop Mount Suribachi in the midst of the great Battle of Iwo Jima

Eastwood will also direct a complementary film on the battle from the Japanese viewpoint. It is tentatively titled Red Sun, Black Sand and will be filmed with an entirely Japanese cast. Eastwood intends to release the film sometime after the release of Flags of our Fathers.

Flags of Our Fathers... some of the scenes are in the Greenday music video for 'Wake Me Up When September Ends'. I'm sure they are because Jamie Bell is in the film and the music video. It looks pretty good anyway.

Okay I don't know what you mean't by your statement but if your saying the Wake Me up video was based in WW2 your wrong. I don't know what you meant but it made no sense

Hopefully the movie does well, big fan of WW2 and wars. Studied Iwo Jima. Loved it. I'll enjoy to see it.

No I mean I studied Iwo Jima for a while and loved studing it. I loved the abttle. Not the people dying and suffering, the battle and sacrifice and all. I just loved studying it and it's one of the greatest battle's ever.
