I actually did enjoy the first film but thought the sequel missed the boat all around. Interesting to see what a part 3 may bring.

13 feature scripts, 2 short subjects. One sale, 4 options. Nothing filmed. Damn.

Currently rewriting another writer's SciFi script for an indie producer in L.A.

Agreed. The original was a fun little film and it introduced one of my favorite villians... the creeper. The sequel, however, sucked monkey dick. I'm keeping my fingers crossed for this new one.

I thought the biggest problem with the sequel was the huge cast. It could've been used as an advantage but was poorly excecuted. And part of what made the first one rather good was the fact that the cast was small, but the characters fought back throughout. In the second one all the characters did was stand around waiting to be dropped like flies.

Nonetheless, I'm awaiting this third installment.

The first one was pretty creepy and I liked the second one as far as it goes. Not the two best movies ever made, but I'd rather watch them than be autopsied alive. Hopefully the third one will be as enjoyable. Hope they ditch the subtitle though. It's a little lame.

Definitely enjoyed the first part better than the sequal, although saying that - I thought the sequal had some good potential.

Apparently this one will open in the wild west, and then it will fast forward in time and be a sequel to the 2nd film. Director Victor Salva(Jeepers Creepers 1&2) will be returning to write and direct. I'll be sure to keep everyone updated as new info becomes available.

I thought the first one was really good and even the second one was better than most horror films out there nowadays.

Definitely needs to lose the subtitle, though.  That's just cheesy.

I'll make sure to rent this when it comes out on DVD.

Please, read Elvis The Goat or Cold Turkey.  Thanks in advance and I'll make sure to review your script in exchange.

Part III? Awesome. I love the first one, and it introduced to me to once of my favorite actors: Justin Long. He has great acting potential, just doesn't seem to pick roles all that well. Eh, hopefully he'll do some better stuff later in his career, he's still really young. I'm really glad Victor Salva is back, I know he can make this great.

As I said earlier, the first was really good (to me). I serious rank it up there with the other classic horror films. The second wasn't all that good, but a lot better then most of the PG-13 crap that constantly gets put out.

What am I working on?!?

Gina Phillips(Jeepers Creepers 1) is in talks to return and star in the new movie. This, in my opinion, is good news.

Didn't anyone ever find it weird that The Creeper had a personalized license plate?

Think about that for a minute.

That means he had go to the DMV, fill out the paperwork, stand in line....

Or he killed someone with that license plate and liked it, so he took it. It's a movie, suspend disbelief.

He just happened to kill someone with a license plate that sounded out "Be Eating You"?   I'm all for suspending my disbelief, but come on!

(And yes, I realize I'm arguing the logic of a movie with a creature that goes around eating people's body parts, but come on!)

Okay, okay. I can't argue this. You're right. But, I still loved the first film.

Haha! This is hilarious. After this, they might want to think about doing Jeepers Creepers 4: Creeper Goes To The DMV. Comedy gold!

I really enjoyed the first film, as I did the sequal until I watched it a second time. The sequal is pretty bad.
I read a few years back they planned on making a third about the 22 year myth of the Creeper and had to go back as far as the wild west to make it so. Im quite surprised it has happened at all to be honest.
I cant say Im a fan of the director,  wrongly or rightly because of his personal life, but I will probably check this one out eventually.
