Not thrilled about the title, nothing against the country, I would have the same thoughts if the title was called "Canada", but it does look good, like those huge epics from the 50's and 60's.
I'll agree that it's not a particularly inspired title, but it's better than New Holland, which is what this little country of our's was originally called.
Anyway, the movie looks good, it's got a great cast, excellent settings and a mighty fine director. Should be a good use of a couple of hours.

New Zealand really got the short end of that stick. Zeeland is a Dutch province. They didn't even get to be a New-"country", just a New-province.
As for the film, I think it looks quite good. And it's Baz Lurhman. he knows what he's doing. It does however irk me somewhat that Nicole Kidman persists to play English even in films that take place in her native country. Do you Aussies even consider her Australian anymore?
It actually seems to me that Australians like no other people assimilate seamlessly into American in ways that spill over into their private lives. I for instance had no idea Portia deRossi was Australian. Why? Because she neaver speaks Australian English, not in shows nor interviews. I mean, Hugh Laurie plays an American but in his free time he's English, right?
Anyway movie looks good, don't mind the title, even if I don't wuite see the relevance yet. Couldn't they just call it "Darwin"?
"The Flux capacitor. It's what makes time travel possible."
