Plot: Six years ago NASA discovered the possibility of alien life within our solar system. A probe was launched to collect samples, but crashed upon re-entry over Central America. Soon after, new life form began to appear and half of Mexico was quarantined as an INFECTED ZONE. Today, the American and Mexican military still struggle to contain "the creatures"...... The story begins when a US journalist agrees to escort a shaken tourist through the infected zone in Mexico to the safety of the US border.

I haven't been able to find a trailer, but I thought this clip was pretty good.

Where do I sign up?

That little teaser looks good and this is the sort of movie that I like to watch, so It'll be interesting.

I haven't seen a good creature feature in a while.

I really want to see this. The reviews from those who were luckily enough to see it at SXSW have been positive. I spent about 20 minutes looking for a script before I found out that most of the film was shot without one, Mumblecore style.

Though earth and man are gone, I thought the cube would last forever.
I WAS WRONG.

Looks good; but the acting in Spanish was absolutely dreadful.

Anywhoo, I'd still like to watch it! Looks like a good ol' monster flick.

A big criticism of "Predators" is that too much of the monsters were shown.
A trailer is of course supposed to trick you into parting with your money.

Do you like it when the monster is tantalizingly suggested to our imaginations or shoved in our face forcing us to deal with it?

I think the human capacity to rapidly analyze and process data, no matter how horrific, makes the latter VERY hard or tricky to pull off, especially with mindless killers.
