It's gonna be a good year for fans of sci-fi/alien invasion movies. First Battle: Los Angeles, then Skyline.

Only downside to Skyline is that the terrible Straus Bros. are directing it.

The same Straus that directed "AVP: Requiem"? I hope they die.

Trailer looks pretty good though.

The very ones.

But, hey, they gotta hit a homerun at some point.

Looks pretty good, but is it going to be another Independence Day?

Thing is, they'll do what they did in Independance Day, War of the Worlds, even Mars Attacks...give the aliens some stupid weakness that means humanity eventually wins. In other words, they'll give it a happy ending. They have to - it's Hollywood!

To me, it just never rings true. Because if this were to actually happen, then we would be utterly, utterly crushed. Also, reading the plot synopsis on Wikipedia - why are they always interested in the people? Who cares about the people? Just kill the people and then strip the planet of any useful minerals!

Guess who's back? Back again?

We would become pets, or a food source, or labor.

Or maybe they wanted to see how Single Female Lawyer ended.

The first teaser left me pretty cold, I did chuckle at the intergalactic vacuum though.
The new trailer shows...
Monsters, helicopter crushing tentacles, Independence Day style dogfights, I'm down!
The film looks like it could be trashy fun! I've got my tendrils crossed.
