Major players Wes Craven, Kevin Williamson, Neve Cambpell, David Arquette and Courtney Cox are all back in the mix for what is being said to be the first part of a new trilogy, so keep an ear out for Scream 5 and Scream 6 in the coming years. New additions to the cast include Hayden Panettiere (from Heroes), Marley Shelton, Adam Brody, Rory Culkin and Emma Roberts.
The teaser trailer premiered at the SCREAM 2010 awards, so naturally it has been leaked online.

I can't live the buttoned-down life like you. I want it all. The dizzying highs, the terrifying lows, the creamy middles. Sure, I may offend some of the blue bloods with my cocky stride and musky odors. Oh, I'll never be the darling of the so-called "city fathers," who cluck their tongues, stroke their beards and talk about what's to be done with this Homer Simpson?
I'm really excited for this one, I loved the scream series and I'm a huge Kevin Williamson fan. 90's slashers just have a energy to them, I don't know what it is but I always get a kick out of them, they don't take themselves too seriously and this seems to have all the same qualities of the original. Here's the international trailer that was just released: http://www.ropeofsilicon.com/article/international-scream-4-teaser-scares-up-online
I'm not a huge horror fan, but growing up with this, it's weird this was one of the more entertaining slasher films around in the 90s. Will be interesting to see what has been going on the last fifteen years.
and if the characters have learned their lessons as to not walk into a dark room by themselves... because it's only down hill from there
