He's got a new movie coming out showcasing the 1st "FAT" female superhero... Take from that what you will. I'm almost 100% positive it'll be the worst movie to grace Wal-mart's 5 dollar DVD bins. Michale Paire is also in it... How big was the apple he went bobbin' for in his life? Crazy.
Met Chris Alexander back in 2007. One of the critics who boxed Boll and apparently got his ass handed to him. Cool dude. Current editor in chief for Fangoria.
Anyway, the movie looks good. I think he deserves his own doc, frankly. Probably one of the only directors in history (along with Ed Wood) whose spirit is inversely proportional to the quality of his films.
I think it's a bit dated at this point though. Boll, even as the "world's worst director," is old hat and there's far worse filmmakers than him in business right now.
Funnily enough, I watched "In The Name of the King..." last night.
$60 million dollar mess.
Anywho, He keeps getting financing and actors to star in his movies. If I remember correctly, there was an interview somewhere about a couple of writers who have refused to work with him again due to his meddling in the screenplays which has led to disastrous results.
Look at IMDB. How the hell does he find time to direct all these movies?

I think they kind of just... I dunno, direct themselves?? I mean, Postal... BloodRayne... House Of the Dead... I can go on and on with the tangled web of shit he's dabbled in. I heard, to Nintendo's displeasure, that he obtained the movie rights, or rather his funders did for him, the intellectual movie rights for the IP of Metroid & that's....... to bad.

Again, that happened a few years ago. IGN announced that he was planning an adaptation starring Michele Rodriguez, only it would be set on modern-day Earth and the Metroids would be a top-secret US biological warfare experiment gone wrong.
They announced it on April 1st.
John Woo had the Metroid rights at one point...that would have been more interesting,
Uwe Boll's old news, I think. The world's moved on. He still makes bad movies...but nobody cares anymore.

I was listening to a podcast recently which featured the girl who wrote Bloodrayne (She didn't know anything but the basic storyline of the game and Boll told her not to use Nazi's) and she talks about how he took the script she wrote in 4 days and made a mess of it.
I've heard his recent movies have actually been pretty good (After Far cry)
He has a career and a job he loves doing so I can't fault the guy for learning on the fly. The game movies he ruined were not the best games to begin with... it's like adapting King of fighters and expecting it to be a good movie (They did adapt it and it was horrible by the way.)
