Had to post about this one!

So, let me start by saying this. It will be directed by Neill Blomkamp who has only made one feature in his whole career. But that isn't a bad thing, especially when that feature was District 9. That movie was badass, definitely the best movie of 2009

So the imdb page is useless and says nothing about the plot but it does say it stars Matt Damon and Jodie foster, who are very accomplished actors. Blomkamp should be able to handle the cast from the size of the one in District 9 but who knows what could happen!

This movie has a budget of 120 million dollars! Holy jesus! That's a lot. I found an outline of the theme of the movie on wiki but I can't find the plot anywhere on the internet! Shameful
"Elysium is set on another planet in the far future. The film will combine sociopolitical ideas and action"
Doesn't sound too bad imo.

I like the viral campaign for this one already.
They wrapped principle photography in December, I think.
Mr. Damon was full on bald for the production.
Got a year plus worth of post to get it right, fingers crossed!

Yeah, I heard it was very popular at Comic Con. Also, that's why he shaved his hair I thought it was for contagion or something. It makes sense now though, cause Damon was never bald in the movie.
Man, am I stupid!

Hopefully we get a teaser trailer for Elysium this year.
