People might disagree but I am Legend has got to be one of the best movies I've ever seen. It's no doubt in my top 5.

There was apparently going to be some kind of prequel but the idea was quickly forgotten and I'm not quite sure what happened to it...

Anyway, that link should explain everything except how they'll actually make a sequel with the same Robert Neville... - If you know what I mean.

I enjoyed I Am Legend as well so this is good news.

Everyone's got their faves, but I Am Legend top 5 all time?  Yep, gonna have to disagree.

I thought it was a CGI-riddled, crapp version of one of the greatest vampire novels ever.  It was really disappointing to me because I love Matheson's original story and I also thought Omega Man was an interesting take on the source material.

But the Will Smith version was a disaster on every level, IMO.    

I'd never read the book or watched the other adaptations so maybe that's why I enjoyed it so much.

The alternative cut was based on the book I think? and I preferred that instead of the official one.

Guess we'll just have to wait and see how the sequel turns out.

Also, thanks Bert for changing the title. I wasn't sure how I should write it if it hasn't got a title yet

i enjoyed the first half of the movie quite a bit.....but when the girl showed up talking about the "utopia" it kinda lost me.

I remember recommending Legend to some friends. After they watched it, they basically said"WTF were you smokin? Thanks for wasting two hours of my life."

Lost some credibility as a movie critic to say the least. I still stick to my guns, though. I liked the film. Funny how people either really like it or hate the hell out of it...

I did like the movie so it will be interesting to see where they take this but I always thought he died at the end?

I have a very strange top 10, Steve. You wouldn't want to see the other movies I have on there! Some people here might have a heart attack .

They actually shot two endings, the alternative one shouldn't be too hard to find on google.
