Really digging Carrey's accent and vibe here. Should give these stone faced kids something to work with.
This looks cheap, real cheap. Millar and Vaughn do Marvel projects for Fox now. So, it seems they went an got a hired gun for this sequel. Sans Carrey, not impressed. And his Sarge ain't no Big Daddy.

LATEST NEWS CineVita Films is producing a short based on my new feature!
Loved the first one. The trailer is looking decent. Creating a 'universe' of heroes - as it appears - they're dong here feels a little wrong to me. But the dynamic between Kick-Ass and Hit-Girl looks promising.
Those dodgy green screens could simply be a product of this still being in post and the footage being released a little prematurely - that remains to be seen.
Carrey is definitely a great fit for this type of world.
I loved the original and I am excited to see the sequel. The sequel probably won't be as good as the original, but few sequels ever are.
I am not sure if I will like Jim Carrey's work in this, it seems a little bit over-the-top. The character is probably fine, but I'm not sure they casted the right person for the role. Sometimes Jim Carrey is brillant, and some times he is just flat out annoying.

One of a very small group of people that actually saw Kevin Costner's "The Postman" in theaters, and I LOVED it!
