I guess below is an accurate of the songs, I didn't pay much for the soundtrack but for 14 songs it's just not worth it, other than downloading I now know why music companies should lower prices, 14 songs is a slap in the face to hardcore music listeners out there, Iwont buy a cd unless it has at least 18 and more songs
If you can get it at half price it's worth a listen, they have great bands and great music that really has nothing to do with the movie unless you take into count dark music with a dark movie
There should be a couple of the Jon Davis songs from the movie that the guy is always singing but I guess not, pick it up if you have the money and like rock/metal
Tracks on Queen of the Damned soundtrack include:
1. "Not Meant For Me" - Jonathan Davis/Richard Gibbs track featuring Wayne Static of Static-X
2. "Forsaken" - Jonathan Davis/Richard Gibbs track featuring David Draiman of Disturbed
3. "System" - Jonathan Davis/Richard Gibbs track featuring Chester Bennington of Linkin Park
4. "Change" - Deftones
5. "Redeemer" - Jonathan Davis/Richard Gibbs track featuring Marilyn Manson
6. "Dead Cell" - Papa Roach
7. "Penetrate" - Godhead
8. "Slept So Long" - Jonathan Davis/Richard Gibbs track featuring Jay Gordon of Orgy
14 songs is a slap in the face of hardcore music listeners out there? it's not a slap in the face of this hardcore listener; although, I do agree that music companies should definitely lower CD prices. Now, as for the CD, I got my friend to burn it for me, so I got it for free... yet I still felt cheated. I can't remember which, but I do remember liking only two songs on the whole CD. This soundtrack is garbage. That's just my opinion, though. My friend, the one that burned it for me, he loved it.
bottle r0ckit: you know... bottle r0ckit: i just don't get it bottle r0ckit: zombies. people alive. people try to stay alive by shooting zombies in the head. some of said "people" get infected. people have to shoot own friends, sometimes hesistate. fewer people are left to fight off zombies. the rest of the movie goes either two ways. they live, or they die. credits roll. bottle r0ckit: what drives people to write this stuff...
Why is it messed up to not want to waste hard earned money on 12 songs that are under 4 minutes each? If I was rich I wouldn't be so picky but sorry to say I'm not, If I was rich id get daddy to get me a movie career but I can't so I dont waste good money on less than quality albums, for instance Staind - Dysfunction I got it for free well 2 bucks canadian but it has like 12 songs and I wouldn't pay 20 bucks for it no matter how much I like the group, most of the groups I like have a lot of songs on there cd's so I'm lucky
You want a cd with a lot of songs on it? Go out and buy the mindless self indulgence cd (called "frankenstein girls will seem strangely sexy", if you're curious). It's got 30 tracks on it. Too bad they're each like a minute long, and most of them are horrible. If you want to decide whether or not a cd is quality solely because of the number of tracks, then... well... I'm sorry to hear that. You're really missing out on a lot of great music. It's true that cd prices are way too high, but if you look hard enough, you'll find some good ones out there worth buying that have less than 18 songs. If you don't believe me, then pick up "AFI - the art of drowning".
PS. Staind is garbage, anyway.

AFI another one of those pop punk bands? I didn't say they were quality if they have more tracks I said id rather buy them if they have more, not saying I dont or have never bought a 12 song cd, I haven't missed any great music because most of the bands I like come out with quality cd's
Is AFI a pop-punk band? Actually, that's debatable. Some would say so. Those that do would say that they made that transition from punk to pop-punk on "the art of drowning." But personally, I don't think so. You really should get this cd, though.

When Queen of the Damned came out, my friend was obsessed with the song "Forsaken." We'd watch the beginning of the movie over and over again to listen to that song because we couldn't afford the soundtrack. That's one kickass song. I also like "System" with Chester Bennington.
