I love this guy so much.  I grew up(and still live)in the sticks, so by law I grew up on country music, and johnny was always my favorite.  I never knew what it was about him that I liked so much, he was not the best singer, but his songs always stuck with me.  I remember when I was little and my dad would come home from work and he'd grab a beer out of the fridge, light up a cigarette and put in a Johnny Cash cd.  Those were some of the best memories I had as a child.  I think personaly why I like johnny so much is that it reminds me of my dad a lot and I alwyas get this weird feeling in my heart and stomach.  I think that's what's great about music, if it takes you to a better place.

Johny's great I think because he's so genuine. He wasn't ful of it like a lot of other "artists" are. It didn't matter if he was talking about prison, drugs, or god, it all came from how he felt. Especially for back in the 50's and 60's when things were really taboo and freedom was limited in the music industry, he still kept his voice. You gotta admire that. Even covering Nine Inch Nails' Hurt, I  have a lot of respect for the man in black. I don't even like country music, but I think Johny's great.

"Harry, I love you!" - Ben Affleck
"What are you looking at, sugar t*ts?" - The man without a face
"Whoever does any work on the Sabbath day must be put to death." - Exodus 31:15
"No one ever expects The Spanish Inquisition!" - The Spanish Inquisition
"Matt Damon" - Matt Damon
