Can't believe it's time to blow the dust off the Bob River's CD again, who is the undisputed KING of holiday hilarity...Can't possibly put up the ol' fake tree with out the little angel singin' Who put the stump in my rump de rump, Chipmunks Roasting on an Open Fire, or the inspirational winter favorite, Walkin' Round in Women's Underwear...It should be illegal to be this funny...Yeah, Wierd Al has some good 'uns, but there is no comparison to the  twisted depravity of Bob...

So what's your favorite, ya'll? (Parody or otherwise)

I like all Christmas songs....

Though, I have taken a liking towards The Bird and The Bee's "Carol of the Bells" which I downloaded off of iTunes as it was presented as the free song of the week. I really like the singer's voice, and I also have the song on my myspace if yous guys want to see what it sounds like.

Or, if you have iTunes, just download it there. It's very good.

I like all Christmas songs.  In fact, I bookmarked the streaming online page of "Sacramento's Official Christmas Station" that's been playing the music 24/7 since Thanksgiving.  Haven't found one of those in San Diego yet.  Probably cause San Diego is a real city haha.

I think my favorite is Christmas Canon by the Trans-Siberian Orchestra along with any Sinatra song.

My least favorite, however, is this new one that I haven't heard before about this family talking about how their mom is gonna die and they're singing about shoes.  It's like, kid, your mom is gonna die but all you can think about are shoes?  Get a life.

That song the Who's sung in Whoville.  It had a sort of chorus melody to it.  'Fah-who-for-ray...' or something like that.  The first time they sung it was near the beginning when the Grinch was listening in from his cave high atop the mountain.  The second time was at the end when he finally grew a heart.

Our local radio station started playing Christmas music 24/7 on Nov 15th!!!

I do listen occassionally, but I turn it off as soon as anyone comes near. Don't want people thinking I'm getting soft in my old age.

Kelsey Grammer starred in a musical version of 'A Christmas Carol.'  This is based on a musical performed at the Winter Garden every Christmas for a few years (I saw it live three times).

After being visited by the Ghost of Christ Yet To Come, he sings a song of remorse, which is an extremely touching song.

Also, during the chorus of the Harry Chapin song, 'Mister Tanner,' you hear Big John Wallace (bass player) sing 'Oh Holy Night.'  That is very touching also.

I like the older stuff.

My three favorite songs are

Grandma Got Run Over By A Reindeer because it brings back a memory with it.
I video taped my grandson singing it in front of the Christmas tree. While taping him, my Chihuahua was caught on tape stealing a present from under the tree and running off with it.
Guess he thought if Grandma got run over, he was taking his present.

Noel. It makes me cry whenever I hear it.

I'm Dreaming of a White Christmas.

YES!  Christmas Shoes is not only the worst Christmas song, it's the worst song ever, period!

Marah did a great Christmas album a couple of years ago which includes the sexiest version of Baby It's Cold outside ever put to digitization (?)  You can check it out here.
