Congrats in advance to everybody who submitted. Mad props to y'all!!
And Ray, thanks for that Anatomy of a Tragedy. It is so true! But...this just wasn't my week, even without considering the OWC. Suffice it to say, I saw my doc today to up my anxiety meds:p

38 is quite a lot considering that a lot of the regulars said that they'll have to skip this one... unless they are bluffing, of course.
I decided to skip this one rather than shame myself with something I have absolutely no clue how to write, especially after the tremendous positive reaction my last one got. But I'm looking forward to reading and commenting on the stuff that was submitted.

Smooth move, Exlaxes. How'd the entrenched warfare go?
Below is my challenge review progress so far in the form of a spreadsheet as if I were a small production company looking to produce at least one of these for a horror film festival and the consideration that I might try to film five or six of them to submit to a SciFi Channel-like program for a one hour show.
Budget numbers are obviously non-SAG et al. Much closer to AFV budgets, but still broadcast video and audio quality.
The idea is to present you with some ideas as to why producers may reject any given screenplay, short or feature.
My written notes I'll post Friday around noon for all the screenplays I've been able to read and break down. Likely, the rest I'll get to next week.
My apologies to those writers I didn't get to before next Tuesday's Writer's Choice Selections submission deadline. But miracles do happen.
You'll shortly notice I've segregated the stories by writers' estimated MPAA rating. (BTW, you two funny munkey-muthers that wrote THE OPEN CASKET and THE LAST STOP got your "PG" stories kicked all the way up to R. Mutilated coachmen, blood spewing throat slits, and bare breasted east Indian snake charmers are not PG. Yet)
