I think I told you all about the movie Rules of the Game, it's about a kid who plots and plans the murder of someone for millions, that's just to sum it up, but when I submit it I don't know what kind of genre it would be. What do you guys think?

Just by reading what you say here, it sounds like a thriller to me.

I wrote a throw away short for WALSTIB similar to this... but very different I'm sure.

It was called "WISHING YOU WELL"  and it was about a billionaire old cogger who's family was so consumed with the lust for greed, they'd do most anything to get his money.  However, the only person he cared for was his little grand son, ADAM, who was 10 and he stood to gain everything once he died.

One day while out with his friend... little Adam and he stumble upon an old wishing well on his grandfathers property. Flipping a penny inside the well and making a wish they see a glimmer of things to come in the water, a forshadowing of sorts.  It shows Adam's friend getting hit by a truck on his bicycle.  Not believing what they had just seen, Adam's friend flips another coin in... however, this time nothing happends.  They pass it off as over reactive imaginations and go on about their daily play.

However, on the way home... Adam's friend his struck by a truck and killed.

This sends Adam into a sort of shaken state... his family is at war over his grandfathers money, they show him no love or attention and thus little Adam lures each and every member of his family to the well... with each time getting a glimer of their deaths to soon come.

In the end... Adam leads his grandfather to the well and has him flip a coin in but nothing happends... Adam, taken aback, by this... has him flip another coin in... again nothing happends.  Adam then flips a coin in and see's an apparation of him drowning.

At this time the grandfather quckly pushes Adam into the well.

It was an early story I wrote for WALSTIB 1 and didn't find a spot to use it within the other stories... Now looking back on it, it wasn't all that bad really.  I might even re-write it now, hmmmm?

Anyways... good luck with this one and I'd put it in thriller/suspense catagory if I was you.
