Help! My smilies aren't working and I'm unable to download images with my posts. Is anyone else experiencing this? Does anyone know why this is happening? (Insert sad smiley. Is sad smiley an oxymoron?)

I am new here, so no....I can't help you other than to tell you mine are not working either.  I chalked it up to some setting in my profile or user control panel I had not changed from a default.

Also, I am running Firefox if that figures into it.  I dont know.

I just turn the machine on and say "ok, now go"  :smile would go here:

Clicking on the smilies is currently disabled.  YOu can make smiles by typing a ':' or ";" and ( or ) or B .

As for " I'm unable to download images with my posts" I don't know what this means.  If the images aren't appearing, this is probably a browser setting and not the forum.

try this:
Code

< img src="http://www.simplyscripts.com/posters/hancock.jpg">

tho, there should be no spaces between the "<" and the "img".  Also, the "http://www.simplyscripts.com/posters/hancock.jpg" should be the url of the image you wish to use.

it should look like this:

<img src="http://www.simplyscripts.com/posters/hancock.jpg">
