Hello there. My name is Jennifer Rose, & for Halloween, I've written a horror story I'd like to submit to a contest. Unfortunately, the deadline is Monday (Halloween, natch) & I'm honestly not sure if I'll have the time to convert it manually. Does anyone know of any good software to quickly convert a story into a screenplay? Thank you for your time.

You'd be able to import your story into most screentwriting software programs, but you'd still need to do a lot to the format to make it read like a proper screenplay as the two mediums are different.

If you are looking for a free software program then Trelby is free (https://www.trelby.org/) check out some scripts on here too as it will show you the difference between a narrative short story and a schor script.

Best of luck
