Thanks for posting, Don.

I'm currently sending out queries for this script. Three requests so far, hoping for more. The amount of emails I've sent, it comes to about a ten percent rate of script requests. Prob a little less. Anyway...

It's almost impossible to find scripts like this (Hallmark, Lifetime rom coms, Christmas) online. I've tried. From my experiences so far, this is pretty much how it's done. I've gotten great mentoring from another writer who has like a dozen of these under his belt. Stuff like formatting, acts outs, etc.

Got a chance to read the first 30 before dinner.

As usual - the writing is clean and crisp - no complaints there at all.

I enjoyed the 30 I read with one minor complaint. It's slightly too sweet for me, especially out of the shoot - not by much. Let's say ideal sweetness is a 8 - so - I'd call it a 10.

Now - I am not the Hallmark target audience so my sentiments here may be totally counter-productive. But do know the writing craftsmanship is really solid, Breezed through the first 30.

Kudos

Thanks for reading, Dave, even thought it’s not your thing. Glad it breezed for you, and I appreciate your input on the writing. Exactly what I want to hear.

This is the second script I’ve written in this format. The first one was optioned, and the initial comments from the producer were the same - really solid work. Felt good.

Thanks again!
