Thanks everyone. I was so happy to see that three of us had made it to the top of the stack. Pia, I think it's safe to say that you are the winner of the prize thingy. If the other members names aren't on the lists thusfar, then they won't be on the final list of winners... And since you won (I was only a finalist, Phil a semi-finalist) then I think it's pretty clear who received the highest score. P. S. I'll send my script in here, to Don, when I have my next day off. It's on my other computer. Cindy |

They haven't finished judging the short screenplays, Cindy. Don't address your trinket to Florida just yet.

Thanks everyone. I enjoyed this and it was fun and felt good to see people from here do well. IMO there's no other place that I know of where you can just post your scripts and get such valuable feedback. I have learned tons here, so I will always cheer SS'ers on.
(I misplaced your addy when you sent me the booze.) |
Playing favors are we?
just rest assured that it will be some useless crap you really don't need...

Hi, there! Congrats to Pia, Cindy and Phil. I was glad to see my old SS colleagues on the top of world !
"Today, I received a DVD of the Gimme Credit Cycle 1 winner, a short entitled, My Wife Is A Zombie. Watching this short was much like reading one of Helio's scripts.
I don't mean this in any bad way, mind you. The winning writer is an Italian writer and his 'foreign influence' is very apparent in the story. You can tell that the script was not written by an American. - Phil "
Btw, Phil it reminded me a moment I passed in my life:
One day I was resting under a big tree reading something when an old man approaches me and said.
- “ Hi, son”
I looked at him but I couldn’t see his face properly, because he was against the sunlight. Even so I answer him:
- “Hi!” - and he continued:
- “Dear son, why do you resting while the world is passing by on you?” - he said concerned. I calmly answered him:
-“Simply, because I don’t like the place it is going to, my old wise.” (his name was Jim Wise!)
Then he set beside me.
cheers to all winners!

Funny and wise you are Helio. It was fun. You should have entered something yourself too. I know you have a short script or too or three or is it 50? |

Oh dear, oh dear Pia... I'm just a simple mortal human being walking alone here and there with 52 short scripts inside a sack hanging on a stick edge ... A type of Oliver Twist, you know? |

Instead of sending in fifty scripts, Helio could just take the entry money he saved and produce a short himself.
