I got junk email from Final Draft the other day about the Final Draft Big Break Contest and thought I'd post.

The contest is commercial meaning that horror, fantasy and comedy do really well.  They don't get the same kind of my-mommy-was-a-cutter-and-I-overcame scripts that Nicholl or Sundance declares winners.  

Last years winner: Cityfall, in which the world’s last city is dying, choked off within a mysterious energy barrier that cuts it off from the outside world. Humanity’s only hope to regain what lies “beyond the breach” is carried in the heart of a rebellion rising up against the fist and steel of a brutal ruler.

You don't have to own Final Draft to enter and all the rules can be found here:
