I just found this yesterday on the net. It's a chance to create a 30 second commercial for Redbull. The best way to find it is to Google "Redbull Best Ad Contest"

There will only be one winner, and you do have to be 18 to enter, but I believe people here have a good chance of winning, and you can read other entries that you are up against there, too, AND another good thing is it's FREE.

The most popular ones are moved to the "Most Popular" page.

They get popular by people either hitting the "Like" button (adding the Like to their Facebook page) or by leaving comments on the story.

You cannot put it in screenplay format. I tried. It just goes to a run on paragraph.

Give it a try. I think it would be fun to see one of the members of simplyscripts ad on television.

Deadline is December 12, 2010

**Shameless plug: Mine is titled "Cowboys and Dummies". It's about Redbull in the wild west.

After you read it, please leave a comment or click on the "Like" button. That is how the ads gain in popularity.

If you enter, and let me know, I will do the same for you by leaving a comment on your ad.

Good luck everybody

Cindy

Goooood mornin', Cindy

Since yerr such a good egg, you got a comment.
I'll go back and look for the "like button".
Still don't see it.

(Currently page 14, at the bottom. I'm guessing page 15 shortly.)

My goodness.
These are lame.

My ideas might give them V-tach compared to these... do they spend money on air time for these?

And these suck the red bull's baa...ells.  Yeah.  These ads suck the red bull's bells.

Thanks for this! I'm a redbull junkie like no other, so I should be able to cook up something worthwhile with some fresh energy (Ha?). I'll check out yours and give it a like!

Ray,

I just found yours.

I didn't notice the links at the bottom of your post earlier. I left a comment on each for you. Good luck.

Oh, and I added a link to my original post for my ad, "Cowboys and Dummies".

btw, open to legal residents of the USA only. Bloody racists.

Oh well, if anyone wants to enter my ad under their own name feel free....

Everytime a bell rings....

FADE IN:

INT. CONVENIENCE STORE - DAY

GEORGE stands in a line holding his young daughter, ZUZU.

In the line in front of him are three HELLS ANGELS,  each holds a can of RED BULL.

The first one pays for his drink and opens it with a SWOOOSH, he drinks, pulls open the door to exit the store. As the door opens a BELL RINGS and he goes outside.

The second Hells angel does the same, drinks his red bull, opens the door...DING! and leaves.

Same with the third...pays for his drink, opens the door....DING! and joins the others outside.

As George and Zuzu approach the counter Zuzu looks outside and sees all three Hells Angels are FLYING around the carpark.

She grabs her dad and shows him....

                             ZUZU
Look Daddy! Teacher says, every-time a bell rings an angel gets his wings.

Fade Out:
