Recently got an email forwarded from Denise Gossett who runs Shriekfest. Pretty sure it was a mass email, so I don't think I'm overstepping by posting it here. An established director is looking for a feature script of this nature. Found footage only. Never wrote one, nor have I ever read one here. Just thought I'd toss this up...

Btw, don't just email Mr. Levin your script, I would encourage you to open a line of communication with him first and tell him what you've got. He directed Opus. Trailer looks great, but I've not seen the film. Here's the email...

Quoted from Email
Hello Denise,
Thanks for the birthday greeting last week. Much appreciated! I hope all is going well with you.
I was recently approached by some producers who want to collaborate with me on my next feature. They have many studio connections and want to find a project I can attach myself to. Specifically, they are looking for feature-length screenplays in the "Found-Footage" genre that we can package and take to some of the micro-budget studio divisions. This is a great opportunity for a screenwriter to get their work produced on a major level and meet some powerful industry players. I was hoping you could help me connect with screenwriters you know who may be interested in submitting their work.
They can contact me at micah@moviemagicmedia.com
Ideally, they already have a script we can get off the ground and running with, but their is also a chance we can develop a project together as we have many concepts floating around.
Thanks so much for all of your help.

Next time hit the modify button -- full edit -- and change it your own damn self.

Sorry, thought that would only modify my response and not my thread title. Thanks for the fix. See where I can do it now. Might have to modify this to "Found Footage, Bert fixes thread, finally earns the big $$ he's paid to work here".

I've had one of these rolling around in my head for months, slowly developing.  I have to learn to write faster.
