I wish script submissions were open.

I'd get mine up for some feedback too...

I've submitted the very final draft of Neighborhood Watch to Screamfest LA today. I'll submit to Screamcraft and Shriekfest this week too. Good luck to all who enter. Hopefully a few SS'ers do the business!

If anything you can always ask a person and then send it him/her by email.

Janet and I have discussed what competitions we'll be entering (she has a script that's not up here).  We need to weigh the cost of submission to what the competition can do for us.

We're flattered to be receiving so much attention on SS.  Our same studio judges are interested in having us organize a COMEDY-specific screenplay contest as well.  We'll be advertising that in a couple weeks - but here's an advance look at the contest page: http://www.screencraft.org/comedy

Keep the early submissions coming.  We have a great start to this horror contest.  Not 75 entries yet, but getting close.  We look forward to reading.

Entered the horror competition.

Nowadays, I only enter competitions which have promises of getting the winners scripts into the hands of people in the industry, so at this entry price, this is a must. I've entered competitions in the past that cost three times as much, without the benefits.

Anyone else entered yet?

Entering early always saves money... though you do have to wait that much longer.

And you should never enter a competition because it offers big cash prizes.  If the competition can't get the winning scripts into Hollywood's hands, then it's not a good competition.

I've never entered a comp for features before, but I might try this one if I can get Scream For Me in shape by then.

Quoted from dogglebe
A masked serial killer script actually stands a good chance of winning here if it's well-written.

And that's exactly what I entered!    Except for the well written part maybe...

So, how many of you SS people entered this one? I ended up entering 5. Maybe they will think I'm insane...

I entered The Devil's Jokebook.  I wish I was able to swap it out with a later draft.  I made some big changes in it.
