I got through with ďBountyĒ. Thatís a damn long list. Hard to pinpoint others from on here without spending a lot of time sorting through a thousand names.

Is that a feature or short?

Congrats, Gary.

I didn't make it this time, not unexpected but it still stings.

Congratulations to all who made it through and I hope an SS member takes the grand prize!

So if my little Excel program isnít lying to me, there were 2013 quarterfinalists. That represents roughly 10% of all entries, so over 20,000 people entered.  Thatís a massive number and you wonder how they even got enough readers for all those scripts. Still, not complaining.

Just got an email. Over 7200 entries. You were close

Congrats, you lot!

Michael (aka Night-Writer,) did The Rising go through to the next round?
They should make that humongous list easier to trawl through.

Ah, no.  It did not.  I think the subject matter for that script does me in, and will keep doing me in.  I'll come back to it at some point, try to address its problems.  Finishing up the first draft of a sci-fi script now.  Maybe I'll have better luck in that genre.  Who knows...

Michael, I was reading some of it the other day and it's a fine script and you're a bloody good writer, so don't despair.

Look forward to reading some of your sci-fi. I hope you'll post it on SS.
