After a few dissapointments latley, pleased to say the Cyborn feature is a finalist in Filmquest. This is a festival I've tried to get in for about 4 years now and never qualfiied. Now I'm a finalist! And this is a cool poster, just had to share.

On their website they say Cyborn is 'one of the bext unproduced screenplays on the circuit today." I'll take that compliment!

Thanks guys.

Also got an email yesterday from the Nashville Film Festival saying I've advanced to their finals. This is huge, it's an Acadamy award nominating event and has been going for 50 years (plus there's loads of cash prizes) so I'm stoked.

Sorry for blowing my own trumpt but I've had a whole raft of rejections and dissapointing results in competitions lately so I'm giving myself a pat on the back for this.

You've earned it.  Like they say, no one's failed until they quit trying. Success is 10% inspiration and 90% perspiration. And then you die.  Congrats. Best of luck!-AndreaRunswithwolves&Ghostie

Great job, very nice, congrats. Hope to see it produced one day!

Im yet to understand the difference between screenplay comps and fests. The way I see it - fests have many different nominations including produced movies nomination. I wonder if there's more to it that I don't know.
