Hey John, thanks for all the clarification. That helps.
A couple things I just want to throw out there for you...
1) The 11:34 thing being Hell...I still didn't get it at all, so I wrote it down on a piece of paper and showed my girlfriend and asked what the correlation was. She turned the paper upside down, and I saw it. BUT...here's the deal. You're talking about a Grandfather clock with it's hands continually on 11:34. How is anyone supposed to get that it stands for Hell, while watching the movie? For me, it doesn't work at all, but maybe I'm just dense.
2) I hear you about the pill bottles. BUT...IMO, it would be so much more powerful if you showed them morphing into shells and John's expression of shock and terror. I think it would work so much better and also, it would spell it out for those dense souls like me
Anyways, good luck with this. You're off to a great start!

Yeah, I thought about that and it may be why it isn't translating. I thought about in the end when he is in the room and after a scuffle, having an old digital alarm clock get knocked over and come to rest upside down. As the hour approaches, we pull out of the room as the door is closing and the clock is blinking the time 11:34. Door slams. Bang. Back in the car.
I don't know but you got me excited to start the re-write.
