Dear Christopher,
If this is about "I want easy things in life. I don’t want to have to work this hard!" its a very convoluted way of getting there. I made it half way. Scenes sprang from out of nowhere becoming more and more fantastical and thus difficult to follow.
How do these move the plot or character arc forwards?
Within this jumble are innumerable flashbacks which show (yes) but yanks me out of the story dynamic. Edit, simplify and trace a more even story path to hold your readers/viewers. All best JtF
