Welcome to the boards.

I'm relatively new here, myself.

When you finish, I would be more than happy to read it. The next great undiscovered talent. =)

Best of luck on your Masters.

The people on this site, that I've seen so far, are really friendly so you should get along just fine in here.

Once again, welcome. =)

Welcome to the boards!

Always great to have another comedy writer.  What's your script about?

Welcome!

The islands of the UK and the Republic have one more SS member!

Look forward to reading your work.

Welcome Rob

I went to Dublin a few years back, it was a lovely place...from what I remember, too many good bars.

Welcome to the boards Rob.

We're a friendly bunch here.

I love the Guinness in Dublin, better than in London.

Yeah I hate Guinness in England but when I had it in Dublin it was OK, although it turns your stools black!  Rather shocking really.

Think I've just lowered the tone too far.

Welcome to the boards, robe4ie!

I'm a comedy writer myself, and I've recently submitted my first script. Always good to have comedy writers, and I can't wait to see your script.

Welcome aboard!  Love the True Romance quote, as it's most likely, my favorite flick of all time!  It never gets old and so many scenes are just down right classics.

Jeff, I thought it was 'Hostel'?! I watched that last night. Also listened to Eli Roth's solo commentary - nice guy.

Hostel's up there for sure, but True Romance is defintely most likely a little bit above it.

That is a shockingly poor summary, I'd love for someone to read the first half. I've had about five or six people read it at home here, they all loved it but they are not writers themselves. I'd love some feedback of anybody here. I could email it. Word format if anyone would like a read.

I sent it over matthew, thanks.

I read Producing Fiction, I really enjoyed it. In a comic sense I think you and I are on the same page

Rob

Cool, glad to hear you enjoyed it.

I'll make sure to get to your script tomorrow when work is slow (it usually is).  Looking forward to it.

Yet to see 'True Romance', but will hopefully get round to it soon. Still planning on seeing some turgid early-'90s affair in 'Boomerang'
