Hi everyone, my name's Richard and I'm a new member here at SimplyScripts. I've always had a love for writing. I've written many short stories and have a notebook full of other ideas. I'm currently working on a novel and several screenplays (both horror and fantasy genres). I've also made some short videos, although they're stuff I made in high school and rather ridiculous but I am entering into a local video contest soon. I'm hoping to learn quite a bit here and am looking forward to the day when I can post up a script for all of you to critique. Until then it’s nice to meet y’all.

Welcome to Simply Scripts, Richard.

You have joined at the right moment, as we are in the middle of the October One Week Challenge. You may like to take a look at the 30 plus scripts posted there - they demonstrate quite well the wide range of styles and approaches that the many excellent writers on these boards take.

Welcome again, and I look forward to seeing your work. In the meantime, the best advice I can give you is to post feedback on the scripts you find here - especially in those areas that you like writing in - so that when your work is up on the boards, you'll get some reviews in return.

Good luck.

Welcome!!!! You say you've created stuff in High School that was rather ridiculous?

A men!!! and A man!!! BOTH! Don't apologize for being ridiculous. That's where the action is when you're not bludgeoning another innocent or petting a criminal. Wait. Maybe petting a criminal is quite ridiculous. Rather ridiculous. But maybe not. They deserve love too. And I'm a criminal so I hope you agree.

Dick. Welcome. Nice intro. I'll be more than willing to read your stuff. Once I've settled my debts to these good folks round here. Maybe next year then. This comment is generated at myself rather than you.

Sandra E.

Pardon my absence. Miseed your pearls of wisdom lately. How the devil are you? PM me.

Hey Richard, welcome to the forum. Cheers.

Runner, this is the last gate. Use
your key now. When the Bell sounds
again...use your key. Good luck,
