I just joined here and am looking forward to getting to know everyone here. I am an aspiring screenwriter, and I only say aspiring because I've never been published/wrote a good script yet. However, you can't strike out unless you step up to the plate, so I've joined this website and am reading and re-reading a few screenwriting books. I really like sci-fi, drama and action movies. It's kind of a funny story how I came into screenwriting, I remember going into theaters a few years ago and watching Ultraviolet, a movie about a Vampire going into the future to save their own life. It was the worst movie I have ever seen. And considering they spent 30 million to make that movie, I thought "Hell, if someone put up 30 million bucks for that movie, I should write one" 5 years later, and even though I still cringe at crappy movies, I appreciate the pain more. Why? This shit is hard.
Anyways, if anyone is still reading this, hope to interact with you more in the future |
